Customer Profiles

The customer profile is an in-depth interview with the sponsoring company’s customer and spans over approximately four pages of the magazine.  The profile consists of an interview, usually with a senior person within the business, and a following write up.  The way it works is relatively straight forward in so far asthe sponsoring organisation would submit to the editor their preffered customer; once in receipt of this contact an exploritory set of questions would be emailed to the interviewee, thus allowing plenty of time to respond and removing the ‘on the spot’ feeling, and once in receipt of the questions the editor would then follow up with a phone interview to add the ‘human element’.  Finally the piece is then authored by the editor (adding extra kudos) which is then forwarded to the sponsoring comapany to check for factual accuracy and once signed off it is published.

 The types of questions the sponsors customer should expected are:

  • How did you start working with ‘The Sponsor’
  • What challenges were you facing before you starting working with ‘The Sponsor’
  • How did ’The Sponsor’ help you overcome those challenges
  • How do you see the relationship with ’The Sponsor’ developing
  • How critical is the relationship with ‘The Sponsor’ to your business
